analog prompt is a hub for facilitation and experiences with the single purpose of solving today’s problems with yesteryear’s tools

a new, but old way of thinking

leave the digital notebook at the door. this is about where pen meets paper. instead of throwing your next great idea or breakthrough to the proverbial spaghetti wall of AI, engage in the deep process of analog thinking - where friction, frustration, and fundamental brainstorming techniques drive your ideas and solutions.

About

Patrick Patino, Owner

In 2022, I ditched my smartphone, which set me on a path of self-development and discovery. I sought out other areas of my life that I could simplify and clarify. I started voraciously reading books from the library. I signed up for and took my first wheel pottery class. I started a podcast. I started deeply living.

I now rock an analog watch and a refurbished Sony walkman that plays cassette tapes. My home has no smart technology. I don’t see technological advancement as inevitable (read this Cal Newport article for more on my thought’s about technology in general)

This has driven me to deep conversations and connections.

I set aside time to think and write with a trusty pen and notebook. I joke that I want to live like it is 1995, a time just before the internet era took off.

As a creative-problem solver (creative writer/lawyer) who loves big ideas and futuristic thinking, I sought to create a space for other’s to build the deep thinking and problem-solving skills that will provide the counterbalance to the AI-first ideology.

analog prompt is for those teams who want to inspire deeper growth, team buy-in and intentional change that comes from the minds of your people.
